We must never make the mistake of wanting to enter the orchard of Addiction Recovery by any other gate but our own.
Sages tell us meditation confers three gifts.
First, deep peace and tranquility. Second, intuition and insight. Third, for some it opens a doorway.
We must combine our mystical intuitions with the “clear light of our reason,” aligning our addiction recovery with the trajectory and purpose of the universe itself.
Weeding the garden may become a meditation, or knitting, cooking, eating, walking, painting---doing what ever you are doing, so long as you do it alertly.
That is with absolute conscious attention , watching each movement of your hands or feet or breath.
